Playing Catchup.....

I know, it's been awhile since you've seen or heard from us....what can I say, we've been SUPER busy.  Between finals, graduation, holidays, vacations and everything else we've been running around going nuts the last couple of moths.  Here are some random pics to show you just a LITTLE of what's been going on in our neck of the woods :-)

Had a squeeze in a little time for family pics for Christmas cards.  They went out REALLY late this year because of printing problems.

Of course, it's more fun to play games than take pics!

Silly!

Sassy!

Beautiful!

Okay...this pic CRACKS.ME.UP.
It was taken when I was with Daddy visiting Grandmother and PopPop (no way mom would have dressed me in this :)

Loving the outdoors...loving Grandmother.

Daddy and I took a roadtrip to Natchitoches to see the Christmas lights when Mama went to New Orleans for the Saints game with her friend Jennifer.

We met up with Russell and Melissa while we were there.

Notice how in the pic before I'm gazing at him while he's NOT looking?  Now he's gazing at me and I'm pretending to notice only the fireworks...aren't I good at playing hard to get? LOL

The faces this little girl comes up with....she's so funny ;-)

Woah!

Wow!

Boom!

Lexie loves fireworks <3

A round of applause for a wonderful show!

Daddy and Mama both made appearances at my school Christmas party.

Mama loves that the teachers respect my cute clothing and always dress me in a big t-shirt at mealtime!

All of us go crazy over fruit snacks...and Ms. JoJo (she's our favorite....sssshhhh!)

Speaking of favorites, meet my friend, Lily.

We look good together, don't ya think?

This is a Christmas dress created by one of our favorite etsy sellers, Corinna Couture, and named after yours-truly!

That's right....this is Lexie in the "Lexie Dress" (bahahaha!)

Of course, to elicit any real smiles, one must place me somewhere I'm not supposed to be!

Bippidity....

Boppidity...

Boo!

Christmas has turned me into QUITE the little princess!

Princess tent and tunnel have been lots of fun!

The whole family gets involved...

It's quite hilarious!

My new playroom (which has been reorganized and remodeled since the photo) will be a complete Disney Princess-haven when it's done.  We've still got a few finishing touches to be completed before we're ready to share pics of that with you.

I love pretending to blow up the floatie that came with my bathtime Ariel....I may spend more time doing this than playing with the doll herself!

Totally unstaged....all Lexie!

Can't miss a famous shot though!

Even though she isn't looking, I love that sweet hand on her daddy's cheek, pulling him close or a picture.

And you can't help but love these smiles.

In fact, this little stinker has finally started warming up to the camera!  Of course, the best smiles come when we use reverse psycology and tell her NOT TO SMILE!

We also got a surprise visit from the Nugents on their way back to Mississippi.

Don't we make the cutest pair?!

We had such fun together :-)

Lexie was quite impressed by John David....I've never seen her play with another child as much or as well as they played together....she's getting so big!

I know, it's the third in a row that looks almost indentical, but they were TOO CUTE!

Even playing in the dirt in a white dress...couldn't help it, they were so cute I just let her play.

Lots of laughs and giggle rolling in the grass.

We may have to make a weekend visit to Mississippi soon so that these two can play some more.

While in the process of "bedroom transformation" we were trimming off excess eggcrate from the mattress topper, Bryan jokingly wrapped it around Lexie.  She giggled and laughed and kept trying to put it on, upset when it would fall off.  So Daddy grabbed the baby and the stuffing and headed out of the room.

And this is what returned!  You might think we are silly....but this crazy little SUMO-BABY would NOT take this thing off!  She even ate dinner with it on :-)

So there's a few random pics to get you caught up on the last month or so.....stay tuned for more, from Thanksgiving and Christmas!
